It’s time for Plan C…

Don’t ask me why, but the OFC website completely crashed about two weeks ago, so I contacted the Joomla! theme developer GavickPro, who then took no less than 24-hours between each and every single communication, just so they could end up telling me that the problem was apparently with our host, HostGator, who by the way were incredibly helpful and timely, who themselves informed me that the problem was in fact with the developer. Upon hearing this news, the developer counter-bounced the responsibility right back again to the host. So in other words, nobody knew anything about what was wrong, but they were both certain that it was the other guy’s fault. Fantastic!!

Using my blog to provide updated information is definitely Plan B, but we’re also preparing ourselves for Plan C.

What this means is that we’re literally starting all over again from scratch with a brand new WordPress theme (goodbye Joomla! and goodbye GavickPro). Our goal is to have the website back up and running smoothly (hey, it could happen) before the start of the playoffs. In the meantime, please feel free to follow any of your favourite OFC teams on Twitter for updates and game results.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding throughout this entire season. Hopefully it’ll all be worth it in the long run.

Cheers!
