“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”―Eckhart Tolle
A few months ago, I had decided to take a “temporary” break from sportswriting and blogging (even though I had announced it publicly as being a more permanent retirement) so that I could step back and work on several other personal and creative projects without having to deal with any other literary responsibilities, distractions or the pressure of a return date. And it worked.
As a result of my brief hiatus, I am proud to say that my new book (name to be announced), is currently scheduled to be released in Spring of 2013. I don’t want to say too much about it at this stage, so all I can really tell you is…it’s a doozy!
Also, I have recently accepted a volunteer position as the Communications Manager with the Niagara Storm Football Club (yes, I will still be the Defensive Coordinator for the JV Squad), so expect a bit of in-your-face opinion articles and boat-rocking press releases in the very near future. Go Storm!
Thanks to everyone for your continued support and understanding. It is greatly appreciated.
